It was such a joy looking through Elaine & Ed’s wedding. They are unbelievably in love, and their wedding was filled with elegant beauty! The ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Julia Morgan Ballroom. Elaine’s hair and make-up was done by the talented Taylor Pham, stunning wedding gown by Priscilla of Boston, eye-catching shoes by Manolo Blahnik. She was absolutely gorgeous!! The day could not have been more perfect… working together with a perfect team: Photos by Gene Higa. Coordinated by Tickled Events. Linens by Especially Yours. Catering by Schilling and Co. Congrats again Elaine & Ed!!

Real Weddings: Diep & Tony

Diep & Tony’s wedding was such a fun celebration of their love! We had such a blast working with Gloria Wong from Gloria Wong Design, and her design always wow our imagination. Since Tony manages a seafood center, Gloria used water as the significant element for the wedding decoration. Water also is a sign of good fortune in Asian culture. One of my favorites was the wishing card fish pond. The pond was custom made for the couple. It was so nice and amusing, and the kids enjoyed watching the gold fish swimming happily in the water. Jennifer & Galen are too cute together!! Their wedding was sweet & delicious, and the lavender + pink + yellow + white color palettes went perfectly well with the sunny Spring day. The room was decorated with endless jars of candies and groupings of cupcakes by Sweetiecups. We also loved the colorful pattern on the pin wheel place cards, and they added so much fun into the table decor. The day was not only gorgeous, but an amazing celebration of their love. NACE Gala 2010, Sabor!

We were so honored to be part of the NACE Gala 2010, Sabor! It was a pleasure to work together with so many San Francisco’s talented event professionals like MB Wedding Designs & Event, Hartmann Studios, Especially Yours Chair Covers and many many more. Along with the gorgeous red roses and succulents, we got to incorporate so many fun elements like coffee beans, artichokes, red bartlett pears, red d’anjou pears, Thai eggplants, red radishes, tomatillo, red beans and mints leaves in our dinning table design. Special thanks for the beautiful pictures captured by Gustavo Fernandez. The Sabor! Gala was a true reflection of the cultural richness of the Latin community!!
West Elm + David Stark: Flower Shoppe

Event designer, David Stark, unveiled his latest collaboration with West Elm to celebrate his new book and the opening of West Elm’s newest Manhattan shop: The (purely paper) Flower Shoppe. All his creations were made from recycled paper, including potted plants, individual flower stems, bird houses, topiaries and even gardening tools and wellies. I just wanted to purchase all and bring them back home!!

Real Weddings: Janice & Fabian

Words cannot express how beautiful and perfect Janice & Fabian’s wedding was and how amazing their love is for one another! They were married at one of the all time favorite venues, Nestldown in Los Gatos. Janice designed & drew their wedding invitation & map, and the birds, flower blossom and vines went so perfect with the venue! We were totally in loved with her design, and we incorporated the details within our floral design and continued to tell their garden love story through the altar arrangements, sign-in table wishing tree and reception table centerpieces. It was such a pleasure working with Angela Chandler Photography. Janice & Fabian, Thank You for sharing your special day with us, we are honored to be part of it!!
