I came across these wedding photos by Jose Villa featured on Design*sponge this morning and completely fell in love! I love how they accented the chairs with ribbons, the cute illustrations on the stationery and the cozy benches with cushions.

You may dream about a tropical wedding but it is too expensive to fly everyone to Hawaii or it is just too much trouble to plan it when you are thousand miles away. But don’t give up yet because you can make your very own tropical getaway here with bright color flowers and decor!! The KEY: Don’t be afraid to be bold with colors.

In 2005, our bride Joanne fell in love with the bamboo birdcages hanging in our display and she asked us to do something creative for her summer wedding (right pic). Since, her centerpiece is one of my favorites as it is unique and one of a kind.
This summer we re-interpreted this old design with a new color scheme – pink and blue (left pic). Isn’t it pretty for an outdoor wedding? If you take a closer look, the bamboo birdcage we picked this time had the dragon carving all around the bottom. It is really art within art.
