Their ceremony and reception was celebrated at Stryker Winery in Geyserville, which was a marvelous venue right in the heart of Alexander Valley, one of the most picturesque regions in all of Sonoma County. Lavender Lemonade

* 2 cups sugar
* 5 sprigs lavender (stems and buds), plus additional for garnish
* 2 cups fresh lemon juice (from about 10 lemons)
* 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (from about 4 limes)

Directions: In a large saucepan, bring one gallon of water and the sugar to a boil. Remove from heat; add 7 lavender sprigs and lemon and lime juices. Cool to room temperature, strain, and chill. Serve on ice, with additional lavender for garnish.

We had such a blast working with Gloria Wong from Gloria Wong Design, and her design always wow our imagination. Since Tony manages a seafood center, Gloria used water as the significant element for the wedding decoration. Water also is a sign of good fortune in Asian culture. One of my favorites was the wishing card fish pond. The pond was custom made for the couple. It was so nice and amusing, and the kids enjoyed watching the gold fish swimming happily in the water.
