Real Weddings: Tricia & Britt

In 2005, our bride Joanne fell in love with the bamboo birdcages hanging in our display and she asked us to do something creative for her summer wedding (right pic). Since, her centerpiece is one of my favorites as it is unique and one of a kind.

This summer we re-interpreted this old design with a new color scheme – pink and blue (left pic). Isn’t it pretty for an outdoor wedding? If you take a closer look, the bamboo birdcage we picked this time had the dragon carving all around the bottom. It is really art within art.

I dream of …

The wedding season has started and I already felt a little bit overwhelmed. I guess it is because my bbf’s wedding is only a month away and I still haven’t yet picked my bridesmaid’s dress. I should have let her pick one for me long ago, but I wanted something special in New York. haha…of course, as expected I got too excited at bathing ape, CB2 Muji, and all the good food but the dress. so wish me luck!! My Vera Wang dress will not come on time for sure and I have spent almost all afternoon searching online. I even changed the color just to make it easier!! yes, it doesn’t have to be yellow, can be pink or hot pink or whatever. haha…I really hope I don’t have to dig out my senior prom dress. =P

anyway, enough panic over my dress! I got to look at some pretty pictures!!

Simply Abundant

Simply abundant for your dinning table!! Apple green cymbidium orchids, black magic roses, cherries, artichokes, (lotus) pod, and cinnamon sticks in a square vase.

Green anthurium, white dendrobium orchids, white mini cymbidium orchids, sandblasted manzanita branches, seashells, and clear glass pebbles in a tall glass vase.

Something white. Something fun.

These tall glass arrangements transformed the empty space into a fun and interesting piece to look at. As these mini green apples and white orchids arrangements are lining up together like an unique wall art, they are making a powerful first impression, and it also helps to bring out the beautiful color and texture of the tiles.
